Learning to drive is a worthwhile skill to have. Learners often need to have lots of training to be able to pass a practical test in the UK. The average learner driver has 44 hours of driving tuition and usually have driving lessons with a driving school or a driving instructor. Sometimes learner drivers will learn to drive privately with mum and dad or a close friend. The DVSA states that the average learner needs 44 hours and half again in private driving practice. The national pass rate is 44% of all driving tests.
