When travelling to the theory test centre, do allow more time for your journey as something unexpected could happen during your journey.

Here is some travel advice:

Walking: If you are walking, you will need to head towards the town centre. Then go to A689 Road.

By Car: If you are travelling by car, the A689 is the major road that connects Durham to other places. You can park your car at the nearby car park-like South Terrace Car Park. If you are travelling by car, there are numerous car parks to choose from, and the train station is only a few minutes walk away.

By Bus: If you commute by bus, there are nearby bus stations such as Rail-Station Stop nr Morrisons or Newgate Street Medical Centre.

By Train: If you are travelling by train, the train station is north of the theory test centre making a straightforward walking route. The train station is only a small walk away from the theory test centre.

Make sure you bring your provisional licence with you to your theory test appointment. Otherwise, you will NOT be able to sit for your theory exam.
